Chris Ward has been painting and drawing all his life. He has a keen interest in marine art through his love of sailing, and his passion for building design is expressed in house portraiture of many styles. Chris paints mainly in acrylic and watercolour on board, canvas and high-quality paper.

His long-held love of butterflies has led him to develop his unique 'butterfly-recreation' pieces using paper art, leaving the real creatures unharmed and flying free. 

Chris works on commission in discussion with clients to decide on the style and genre of the work and is happy to work from good-quality photographs, so he is not limited to his home of Melbourne. Please get in touch via the contact page.
